Modern Slavery and the History of Slavery
Step 1: Read
Read the posted instructions and example documents in Content>Research Essay Project>Step 2.
Step 2: Write
Write your annotated bibliography according to the posted instructions, reading, and example. Then post it for peer and instructor review.
Your initial post is due by Thursday, 3/10 at 11:59 p.m. Your responses to peers and me are due by no later than Saturday, 10/12 at 11:59 p.m.
Remember to be specific in your responses to your classmates; don't just say "I like your post." Let's keep doing some honest peer critique work. If you see something in your peers' work that needs correction, tell them in a positive, helpful way. Responses to peers must be at least three sentences long and demonstrate that you have read the person's work by mentioning specific details from the post. These responses must be written properly--no text message style writing is allowed anywhere in the classroom.
You are also required to respond back to your instructor. Remember to respond back to me properly; do not text me! Also, try to be upbeat and polite. Putting the single word "Yes" in your response to me seems rather abrupt and borderline rude, so don't do that, please. Use proper capitalization, spelling and punctuation. Expect me to respond to you within 24 to 48 hours of your initial post.
This assignment , along with all others in this course, requires you to use proper, professional writing, not sloppy text messaging habits. If you are having trouble figuring out how to post, please refer to the instructions under Course Content>Help with Assignments.

Nevertheless, the article can still be used to reinforce facts. The authors referenced specific laws in this paper but failed to provide citations for the references, making the source only moderately credible. However, the source is updated since it has only been published in 2021.
