Annotated Bibliography Instructions:

Write an annotation for your chosen source and post it to this thread. Your annotation should include an MLA-style citation of the source (which you're welcome to simply copy and paste from the Course Bibliography page), and it should be around 150 words long.
I will upload the pdf for the annotation.
Example Annotation
Fine, David. “Nathanael West, Raymond Chandler, and the Los Angeles Novel.” California History, vol. 68, no. 4, 1989, 169-201.
This is a journal article by a CSU Long Beach professor intended to give some historical context for what he sees as a uniquely Californian form of fiction. He explains that Los Angeles writers were often outsiders whose alienation manifested in their works, and he describes the factors that led to a mass migration into California in the early twentieth century. He then analyzes how those themes emerge in novels by Nathanael West and Raymond Chandler. This is an older source published in a regional journal, but it isn’t outdated because it contains information that’s not likely to change with time, and it’s also full of insights on how to interpret Chandler’s work. I will use it to support my argument that “Goldfish” manifests a feeling of displacement and estrangement in complex urban societies.
The citation for my annotation: Kaminsky, Amy K. "Dirty War Stories." From Argentina: Stories For a Nation, University of Minnesota Press, 2008, 158-182.

The denial crafte...
