Cuadrado, Torres, and Lieberman (2021) examined the impact that use of cocaine and use of marijuana have on the likelihood of engaging in violence. A survey was conducted using 250 students at a local college in 2015. Findings indicate that individuals using cocaine were twice as likely to engage in violence than those using marijuana. This study provide some understanding of the different effects that a drug may have on the user.

The researcher utilized 149 888 records and documents of traffic enforcement stops made in 37 societies in Rhode Island in 2005. The results established that females were less likely to receive citations or tickets for traffic infractions when dealing with officers from stations with fewer female officers than those with more female officers. The research is essential in establishing characteristics that lead to more females getting warnings and not citations during traffic stops.

The researchers utilized 4,089 speeding traffic stop cases documented by the Burlington Police department from 2012-2017 and evaluated them using a regression model. The results established that the chances of a man driver being ticketed for speeding were 1.262 times that of a woman driver. Additionally, men were 2.132 times more probable to receive speed driving warnings than women. The research is vital to understand how gender disparity in traffic law enforcement progresses.
