Our group adhered to group fundamentals of forming, storming, norming, and performing. In the first step, we set up a zoom meeting where we met for the first time to form the group. We introduced ourselves and shared the details of the group, its purpose, scope, and how long it would take. We also introduced the topic the group members were going to handle. In storming, we made a tag team introduction. We introduced the topic in detail for the group members to understand it. Unfortunately, some group members were missing, but that did not prevent us from continuing our work. We laid down the group's rules in the norming stage to ensure that every member knew their boundaries and what was expected of them for the task beforehand. Our group was overall sound on the performing stage, except that we should have filled the part our absent group member was to cover.
It is normal for a group to disagree over issues it is handling. Our group disagreed on the name we should adopt and on procrastinating meeting sessions. Every member had a name that they thought was suitable for the group leading to a disagreement on the best of all the proposed names. However, we used the elimination method where we discussed each name at a time and deleted it to a less suitable one. We finally arrived at one.
