Introduction
The need to formulate a better healthcare system for the United States is a critical concern. It calls for an urgent address by the government to steer it in the direction that will solve the problems affecting the nation adversely. New times call for up to date measures. Since the old trials did not completely solve the issues, change seems ideal for the problems at hand. The healthcare policy issues began with the implementation of the compulsory insurance system. The system proposed and put to act by President Truman increased the costs of attaining any form of medication. To get any other treatment than the one included in the insurance became a nightmare that the Americans live with to date. Current times are also advanced than the old times. Changes like technology advancement made life easier and the health sector would do finer when addressed differently. This essay investigates the roots of the problems in healthcare, the history of dealing with it, and recommendations on how to handle the situations better in future.

His policy restricted both the doctors and patients when he made the insurance mandatory. The doctors were restricted to specializing in one area while the patients could only acquire insurance on one field. The one with kidney insurance could not be treated for the liver without extreme costs. The tax deductions were higher for the working citizens and treatment costs rose too. Voluntary health systems are more efficient and cheaper than the proposed obligated health insurance system. The volitional systems on assessment looked like they would solve the medical care problems faster than their counterpart enforced systems. Among healthcare, obstacles are exorbitant treatment only in the United States. Other problems include less primary care professionals, contrasting international standards on healthcare, hospital errors and bias in offering treatment.[AMA Statement on Truman Health Plan Special to the New York Times. History
The history of the healthcare policies muddle point at the multi-care systems. The different specialists that should only stick to their fields in the United States are one reason medical care remain costly. The example of Mr Odysseus spending a fortune due to the narrowing of the specialists’ field shows how strenuous the healthcare system of the United States has become. It was unreliable and consumed much time than required to come up with a simple diagnosis. The current president should address the issue so that several Americans can afford to pay their bills to leave alone the health insurance. There is a critical requirement to reconsider lowering the fees the citizens pay before treatment. To ...
