Was it a Good Decision to Legalize Abortion?
Multimedia Final Project
The Assignment:
For this assignment, you will create a multimedia item, such as a YouTube video or podcast, in which you describe a contemporary ethical debate and outline at least two philosophical positions from what we have studies this semester on the topic. Your goal is to give your listener/viewer a thorough introduction to a contemporary ethical debate and its philosophical dimensions. Thus, you do not need to argue for a specific thesis. Instead the project should be more like a “very philosophical” news report. The topic of your multimedia project may not be the same as the topic of either of your papers. Your podcast/video should be at least 5 minutes long.
You can write the speech paper based on two of the topics: existentialism, stoicism, Kant’s Deontology, utilitarianism, Aristotelianism.
