This study uses one of the classic social science research tools-questionnaires (Sarantakos, 2012). The questionnaires was distributed among 260 men and women to examine their drug use, depression, anxiety, and loneliness. A particular focus was on how age is correlated to marijuana use and RX. A questionnaire was selected for this research since it is a reliable and faster method of collecting information from many respondents in a timely and efficient manner. Questionnaires are particularly integral when one is handling large projects, with numerous manifold objectives, where time is a primary constraint (Williamson, 2018). This study was indifferent and questionnaires were the most efficient means of reaching the 260 respondents within a short period. The questions contained in the questionnaire aimed at establishing the age, gender, and race of the respondents. The questions also covered whether the respondents were born in the United States, their employment and education status if they are enrolled for therapy, the nature of legal and illegal drugs they use including marijuana. Under drug abuse, the research intends to gather details on different types of drugs that the respondent abuses and if they feel loneliness, anxiety, and depression.
