Digital Story: How Cultural Diversity can Shape One to a Leaderv

Speech Presentation Instructions:

Hi,
This presentation has a rubric and I have attached below (Please read and understand the requirements). I have attached two examples from my classmates. It will be a presentation like that. It will be base on my first assignment which I attached below, "Sketching the Digital Story from Four Domains".
Use first person perspective to write this paper. Don't change my identity and you can make up reasonable stories.
This story should include the factors that brought you into the educational setting and describe the type of leader you were, are, and hope to become. In the end, you should state what you believe you are and want to become as a leader.
I will make a video based on this, so a story telling presentation from first perspectives is better!
Thanks

Guidelines for the overall project/final story

Many learners investigate their past and their surroundings by collecting photos and interviews. These data provide an opportunity for them to investigate and reflect on who they are as a leader.

Digital stories that have been developed in the past have been quite powerful, as they are deep, moving reflection stories. These digital stories will be shared with classmates on a class networking platform. After viewing, a debriefing session can be scheduled to clarify and articulate points made in the video. Finally, a plan of action assignment allows students to develop specific action steps in their development as an anti-racist leader. The action steps have included: the development of additional digital stories, additional data collection (e.g., interviews), and the development of this exercise as a teaching and learning activity for equity leaders to use in their current transformational work in the educational environment.

Note that a digital storytelling can be as simplistic as a set of pictures accompanied by narrative and as complex as fully produced videos. Whether either of these is used is less important than the powerful personal message of leadership that will be conveyed. This story should include the factors that brought you into the educational setting and describe the type of leader you were, are, and hope to become. In the end, you should state what you believe you are and want to become as a leader. Again, please employ at least two (no more) of the domains (biological, historical, racial/cultural, political) to tell your story.

How Cultural Diversity can Shape One to a Leader
I am a Chinese who migrated to the United States of America (USA) for educational purposes. Having been born in China was a privilege since I had numerous life experiences from my family, community, and society that have positively shaped my behaviors and personality. In addition, going to the USA for studies was another advantage that has enabled me to understand how to reside in a multicultural society. I have met and interacted with many people from different cultures, religions, ethnicities, races, genders, and geographical locations. In that light, I have learned how to embrace cultural diversity, which has contributed to helping me realize that I want to be a transformative leader.
Since I migrated to the USA, I have undergone various changes that have made me realize the power I have in influencing others. I would be lying to say that I was a leader during my high school years. However, the manner I interacted with others made them feel safe, and were likely to share things that disturbed them. I always listened carefully without judging them. Besides, I learned that at times it’s good to just observe and listen since I faced several challenges as a Chinese immigrant in the USA before getting accustomed and assimilated into the American way of living. After paying attention to my friends, I usually recommend the best thing to do based on their situations. At other times, I have nothing to say since before I tell someone what he or she should do, I usually put myself in his or her shoes to avoid misleading them. All I can say is that my journey to realizing my strongholds as a transformative leader started from these high school interactions with my friends.
My race has significantly contributed to the person I am today. My cultural beliefs, practices, norms, and values help me to navigate various things that I come across in my daily life. For instance, my parents always taught me to respect others and be empathetic. Therefore, when interacting with others, I do not overlook their cultural, racial, religious, or ethnic backgrounds. I treat everyone with respect and uphold human dignity in all my interactions. I have learned that people’s differences make them unique and talented in distinctive ways. When I speak with someone from another geographical location or culture, I learn various things that improve my perception of life. I appreciate our differences since they depict specific identities that cannot be manipulated. If individuals only learn to accept who they are, where they come from, and...
