Hello please follow the rubric and it should be a research proposal. no cover page just straight to it. i have provided the research question and hypothesis please use that and base research proposal off from it.
The purpose of this research was to examine the relationship between greenspace amount and proximity on statewide obesity rates. Evidence suggests that physical activity participation influences obesity (find a reference). Further, evidence suggests that access to greenspace may promote recreation and physical activity (find a reference). I propose that states with more greenspace and better access to that greenspace will have lower obesity rates.
Review literature related to greenspace, physical activity and obesity.
Review your methodology
Review your findings
Discuss the findings: The correlation is inverse and mild, suggesting that as greenspace amount and access increase, there is a slight trend for obesity rates to decrease. The trend is only slight. Other factors may play a stronger role in obesity. Review literature for obesity causes here.
Limitation may be the data source, accuracy of greenspace reports and limits related to use of metropolitan cities instead of rural areas.
Make some conclusions: While greenspace appears to have a mild positive influence on obesity rates, other factors including ____, _______ and ______ may be more impactful
You can use the sources, they might be helpful then add two more

Abstract
This research examines the relationship between green space amount and proximity on statewide obesity rates. Evidence suggests that physical activity participation is critical in obesity reduction. Physical activity boosts individuals' total energy expenditure. This increase is essential in helping them lose weight and stay energetically balanced (Anderson & Durstine, 2019). Besides, it decreases total fat, slowing the development of abdominal obesity. The quality of green spaces is beneficial to the environment because it contributes to potential advantages. Evidence suggests that access to green space offers safe, attractive, and accessible places for exercise (Ord et al., 2013). This promotes reaction and physical activity among individuals. I propose that states with more green space and better access to it will have low obesity rates.
Research Question
Is there a relationship between proximity to a green environment and obesity rates?
Research Hypothesis
Living in proximity to green space may be inherently beneficial for promoting healthier lifestyles and decreased obesity rates.
Literature Review
According to Camara's research (2022), being around green places improves people's health. Sustainability and urban green space are related to human health. This suggests that urban green areas may provide multiple human health benefits and enhance urban sustainability. It benefits health and can help with physical body development through exercise. She adds that such areas encourage social connection and physical activity, which are suitable for mental health. Physical exercise supports appropriate weight management, lowering the risk of becoming overweight. They also lessen noise and air pollution exposure and have restorative effects. Green spaces can also help regulate temperatures, particularly during hot seasons.
According to Jia et al. (2021), a correlation exists between children's access to green areas and weight-related behaviors and outcomes. Accessing such spaces may impact a person's physical activity (PA) and weight status affecting obesity rates. The authors contend that a mixed relationship exists between PA and moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA). The study found that individuals living close to green environments tend to engage often in nature walks, which is an essential physical body exercise. This finding indicated a clear correlation between PA and the availability of green space. However, there was a negative correlation between green space and physical activity for children, especially those who like television viewing. This behavior influences their weight status and BMI. Therefore, children's television-watching time can reduce when they are readily and safely exposed to green spaces. Besides, when they visit those locations, their childhood PA is boosted, decreasing their chances of becoming overweight.
According to secondary data in the U.S, Kim, Lee, and Ramos (2021) look into the connection between adult obesity rates and their access to green space. The study determined whether adult obesity rates in the U.S. are impacted by adults' access to gre...
