Minimum Wage in the State of Georgia
Minimum wages can be described as the minimum sum of cash that a company is obligated to pay wage staff for the labor accomplished during a given time, which is not subject to reduction by joint contract or an individual agreement. Georgia has one of the lowest minimum wages and is unfavorable to employees. A minimum wage has to be fair in that neither does it exploit the employer nor the employee. It inevitably causes the employees to work harder and longer than they should be, in more than one job to make ends meet. Thus, causing them to work inefficiently. In the end, the goods or services produced will be mediocre and low in quality.
Moreover, it will lead to the exploitation of employees (Zubiashvili et al. 128). The hard work put in by self-driven and hardworking employees will be unmatched by the paychecks some of them receive. The skills and education some of them have should mean that they will get a high wa...
