Martin Luther King, Jr (MLK) was an advocate for human rights and focused on equal privileges to the black population in the US. MLK came up with different approaches to handle the issue of racial discrimination and segregation in the US. The “Letter from Birmingham Jail” also known as “The Negro Is Your Brother” was written by MLK on April 16, 1963 (Lucas 8).
