How Emerging Technologies Have Disrupted Traditional Business Models and Created Entrepreneurial Opportunities

Research Paper Instructions:

entrepreneurship can be the career and just add whatever you want to that or change it . up to you
Total Word Count: 1250-1500 words
Research papers, or term papers, often focus on generic topics like "legalizing drugs" or "abortion," but in this paper, you are going to formulate your own research question on a topic related to your (future) career.
You will not simply research the career, but find a question or problem related to your prospective career that requires research to answer. For instance, if you are thinking about going into journalism, you might look at how online advertising has reshaped the industry, or how local news will survive in the media marketplace. If you are thinking of going into medicine, you might look into the effects of tele-health on patient care etc.
Every career has its own set of questions or problems, and this research project will allow you to enter the discussion around these questions. I would encourage you to do some 'pre-searching' on your career of choice before selecting your research question.
How to Do This Project
SECTION 1: INTRODUCE THE TOPIC
In this first section, you will introduce the topic, provide context, and outline the approach you used to research the topic. Some of the questions you should address in section 1:
Explain your topic or area of focus. What context do we need to understand the issue?
What did you know about your topic before you began the research?
What did you what to find out? (your research questions)
How did you conduct your research? (your research strategy).
What did you expect to find? (your hypothesis).
SECTION 2: RESEARCH
The second section is where you will present your research findings and summarize relevant parts of your sources. This section should be organized in paragraphs centered around key ideas from your research. Make sure that you don't simply regurgitate your sources; your job here is to synthesize (combine and compare) the information to reach a considered conclusion.
Paraphrase or quote material from your research. You must show where you found your ideas!
Cite the sources using parenthetical documentation according to MLA 8th ed. guidelines.
Explain how that information contributes to your understanding of the topic.
SECTION 3: WRAP IT UP
The third section is your opportunity to wrap it all up. Synthesize all the information you learned in this research and explain your conclusion.
Now that you have all the facts, what do they mean? How do they tie back into your original question?
How accurate was your original hypothesis?
Now that you are finished with the investigation, has it changed your initial perception of your future career? Do you still have questions that are unanswered?

How Emerging Technologies Have Disrupted Traditional Business Models and Created Entrepreneurial Opportunities
Section 1: Introduction
Recent technological advancements have caused significant disruptions in traditional business models, highlighting challenges and opportunities. Emerging technologies, such as augmented technology, automation, fintech, blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI), have revolutionized the world of work through improved cost-effectiveness, productivity, and operations efficiency. However, these improved technological capacities have presented challenges, including rendering traditional human roles obsolete since robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence can execute them autonomously. On the other hand, emerging technologies have ushered in a new economic era characterized by unexplored entrepreneurial opportunities in various commercial domains, including education, healthcare, banking, manufacturing, and marketing. Consequently, individuals and organizations that adapt appropriately to technological advancements and utilize them innovatively will gain a competitive advantage in the rapidly evolving business world.
Context
Business models have traditionally relied on centralized systems, intermediaries exploiting pain points, and rigid practices. However, emerging technologies have disrupted these traditions through decentralization, peer-to-peer capabilities, automation, and artificial intelligence. For instance, introducing and adopting digital currencies based on blockchain technology have disrupted trust and transparency in the banking sector, threatening the traditional centralized banking system. This field represents many that have challenged conventional systems and presented countless entrepreneurial opportunities. In the same vein, financial technology advancements have changed how people transact globally, with innovative ways of payments emerging rapidly as entrepreneurs continue addressing the gaps in the industry. Most recently, AI has captured the attention of investors worldwide, who are now in the race to make the most out of it as they believe that the person who controls it will be the most influential in the future of business. Revolutionary changes are also evident in the manufacturing industry, where 3-D printing, automation, augmented reality, the Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence are taking over (Ardelean 7). The same trend is apparent in the healthcare and education industry, with telehealth, nanotechnology, and artificial intelligence disrupting the industries significantly. These examples represent a fraction of the entrepreneurial opportunities that emerging technologies have presented.
Prior Knowledge
While settling upon a research problem can be challenging, my curiosity about the impacts of emerging technology on businesses gave me the perfect drive to explore this topic. Being reliant on technology for various functions, including financial transactions, bookings, learning, and socializing, I have experienced the improved experience facilitated by current fintech, blockchain, learning technology, social media, and AI. Besides being aware ...
