Within these connections is the problem of authenticity and inauthenticity. If art can influence global politics and monetary value, then its authenticity, or lack of it thereof, is essential. In this case, as utilized in the film, the technology faces a question of its ability to verify the two definitions. Thus, these connections inform the basis of the current research project.
