Research Paper Instructions:

Designing for Change: Air, Energy, Materials, Water
You have been selected to submit a design proposal to an international Request for Proposals to address one of the issues you have been looking at over the semester in the domain of air, energy, materials, and water. How would you redesign a system to address the fundamental problems that you have been studying over the semester? We will be rating and assessing these proposals as a class. To that end, we have been given a grant of “10 million currency units” to allot to this work.
Consider the needs of the community in which you are designing.
Consider the problem you have identified.
Deliverable A: Draw a systems map to place the problem within a broader ecological system or network of systems.
Brainstorm possible and plausible solutions. These can be elaborate or simple.
Deliverable B: Come up with a comprehensive plan, can include renderings, sketches, projections, and a possible timeline for the work to be completed.
Deliverable C: Make a model (3D, analog or digital) describing what you aim to do.
Questions for you to consider:
Who will you need to work with to make this happen? Research the city, state, regional and federal partners you may need to involve in the project to make it “real.”
Consult Okala Practitioner to help you think through anything you may have overlooked.
Look around for other examples: has anyone tried anything like this before?
Think about your budget - how much do you think this might cost? Think about materials - what materials would you use? How can your material choices make the situation better or worse?
Present your proposal to the class. You will be asked to present your proposal on May 4. You can present as a powerpoint or video. We will judge and select one proposal to back with our funding. You will also turn in a 6 page paper with research notes, works or articles cited (bibliography).
Except 6 pages, it also has one page of proposal, I will draw a graph for this system according to the proposal, it needs to be in detail, I need a detail description for this system in order to draw, can you help me to draw a draft? Doesn't have to be complicated.

Draft of the System
The draft below shows how the system will work with the conjunction of other intervention and the national grid system. The national grid system is the expected line of transmission for use, though the power provided should be that from the windmill intervention together with that from other intervention as solar. The community shall be divided into segments in which each system has a specific area of power provision depending on its capability.
Other Interventions e.g. solar The windmill system

Introduction
Sustainability is the aspect of remaining productive definitely without depletion. In the domain of energy, the aspect of sustainability is realized by the reference of the sustainable development goals. Goal number seven under energy states that to realize access to reliable, affordable, and sustainable modern energy for all. Therefore, the domain of energy falls under the sustainability concept through the availability of energy that is cheap as well available for all. The idea of renewables, which is quite cheap for a particular society is the whole issue of sustainable energy.[Tiwari, G. N., and R. K. Mishra. 2012. Advanced renewable energy sources. Cambridge: RSC Publishing.] [Ibid 45]
Renewable energy is the kind of energy that can be reused after production. Apart from being reused, renewable energy is always acquired from environment-friendly aspects. For instance, the use of windmill energy as well as the dam is a form of renewables. For dam, the running water will still be available even after it has provided power for a particular time. The windmill is also kind of the same in a manner that after then production of the wind energy, there is nothing that is depleted or rather needed for the provision of the next energy. The Wind is still available from a natural source and therefore, the use of the wind for the supply of electricity is a form of renewable energy.[Tortora, Marco. 2012. Sustainable systems and energy management at the regional level: comparative approaches. Hershey, PA: Information Science Reference.]
Proposal Background
The community needs a kind of steady supply of energy which is also environment-friendly and on top of all, sustainable. Sustainable energy is required in the community as the reliance on the national grid causes problems in a manner that most of the power supply is limited and the aspect of rationing is at a high level. Therefore, it is important to find a form of friendly production of sufficient energy for the community so as not to make the economic environment of the community at stake. During the power rationing times, most of the economic activities in the market always are stopped, and this may lead to a slow economic growth. Therefore, on the basis of how the community has problems with energy, as well as with consideration of those who have no electricity at their homes and burn fuel for light and cooking, it is important to come up with a way of creating an energy supply that is sustainable and reliable apart from being cheap for the community members.
