What non-profit(s) would you focus on? Why?
In this research, the attention will be trained on the not-for-profit organizations addressing mental health problems that are based in Alaska. The selection of these types of NGOs is based on the fact that they address a sensitive matter that the COVID-19 pandemic has worsened. The state of Alaska was chosen for this study as it emerged to be one with the highest cases of depression and anxiety disorder as of December 2021, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation (2020).
What would be your research question?
The research question that will guide this evaluation process will be, “Do the interventions provided by the mental health non-profit organizations in Alaska significantly reduce mental health problems in the assisted individuals?” This research question is informed by the aim of the study, which is to find out if the interventions by the mental health NGOs are positively significant to those who are have treated.
