Introduction
Protection of children is sometimes a difficult task for parents to tackle. In most cases, parents might find themselves providing their young ones with the most appropriate attention. For most school-going children, parents have insecurities and find themselves crossing figures on their children’s safety. Most children with working parents have to walk home alone without any supervision, and in most cases, they may find themselves being approached by strangers, forcing an engagement. Under these circumstances, children can be exposed to severe crimes such as molestation, drug trafficking, and even abduction. It gives the kid a strong feeling of ownership and responsibility and guards them against people taking advantage of them. When subjected to a potential abduction situation, a confident child will know that retraction or calling for help is the best remedy to the problem. Allowing a child to understand how to protect themselves in some severe causes will save the parent the agony of worrying about their kid. Installation and restoration of confidence in children guarantee their safety since they become less prone to oppression and withstand public pressures.
Parents should apply Consistency in parenting to evaluate a child’s behavior. Inconsistency in parenting has proven to be one factor leading to misconduct and aggressive behaviors in children. Such habits may be projected in schools and further escalate to society at large. The child may develop inappropriate addresses to strangers leading him ...
