Humans are known for their ability to look at that world and learn how things hold up together. On the other hand, humans then generalize this through the development of rules that fit in what has been seen, which is then applied to different situations in a full expectation to achieve results. Every individual is therefore familiar with these processes within their personal lives is as much as they rarely think about the approaches of using this knowledge. Scientists also incorporate such approaches in the conduction of research, an approach that inclusively incorporates the scientific method in real life. This paper consequently seeks to establish the manner in which scientific methods can be applied in a situation. Applications of the Scientific Method of Everyday Life The scientific method is considered as a research process that follows specified steps in answering some of the questions that seek to address the causes and effects of relationships that exist in nature (Trefil & Hazen, 2011). The scientific approach, consequently include the elements of asking viable questions, developing a background search, constructing an authentic hypothesis, testing this hypothesis through experiments, analyzing the results of the experiment and drawing a conclusion on the process that would result in reporting the outcomes of such an experiment. A hypothesis in this case can be proved either partially or disapproved through an experiment. In a case where the hypothesis is proved, a basis is established that approves the process of a research experiment that expands the results, an aspect that begins the cycle. However, if the hypothesis is partially proved or disapproved in an experiment, new questions are generated in order to develop a new hypothesis (Trefil & Hazen, 2011). This denotes the continuity in the scientific cycle. In establishing the application of the scientific method in everyday life, the paper will conduct an experiment to solve a case where a light and TV with a blue screen are not working through the inclusion an application of the scientific method in arriving at the solution (DIRECTV. n.d.). To effective get to the bottom of this problem, scientific steps are applied. Scenario 1 Imagine getting home at night and getting to your front door and open only to realize that the light switch that is located besides the front door is not working since the light is not turning on.
