The National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NADAAC) is an organization that was established in 1982 and aims to regulate professionals who guide individuals with substance addiction. Guides the certification to permit professionals to help individuals who have been experiencing drug addiction. Standards are the regulations that govern the professionals in this to make sure that they appropriately conduct themselves (NAADAC, 2021). Therefore, NADAAC standards are the set ethical regulations that guide the organization toward achieving the set goals. Standards are set based on law, personal
