What is PTSD?
This is a mental condition that is triggered by traumatic or terrifying events in the lives of the affected person or someone close to them. As such, it can be due to the fact that the person in question experienced the trauma or they witnessed someone go through the terrifying ordeal.
Who is most likely to be affected?
PTSD can affect anyone at any age. This means that even the children ca also be affected. One does not have to be physically injured to develop PTSD, as it can develop from experiencing a friend’s or a close relative trauma.
