The rate varies, with the rural and economically deprived regions being the most disadvantaged. This aspect has led to increased morbidity and mortality in the state. According to AANP, full practice allows NPs to use their licensure to provide primary care, from patient evaluation, and diagnosis, to treatment and prescription (Davis, 2020). They complement the work of the physicians, enabling the patients to access any health services whenever needed because these experts practice to the full of their qualifications without state-based limitations (Davis, 2020).
