The authors suggest pre-licensure interprofessional education as a strategy for improving communication and collaboration skills among health professional students. The author specifically focuses on Kolb's Experiential Learning Theory as an approach to guiding simulation-based interprofessional education by concentrating on offering a foundation and process for knowledge acquisition through leveraging on the needs of each learner.
