Briefly describe the leader
Our leader's name is Sherrilyn Ifill (SI), an American lawyer, president, and director-council of the NAACP legal defense and educational funds and was born on December 17,1962, in Baltimore, Maryland. Ifill is an intellectual woman who fights for the civil rights issues facing the country. She is the seventh legal defense fund president since Thurgood Marshall founded the organization in 1940.
Why was this particular leader selected?
What is particular about Sherrilyn Ifill is that her advocacy creates paths for the unconvicted to know the situation, which got more attention than they should. This is considered her genuine leadership skills. She is a rare lawyer who can inspire, educate, and disassemble the distortions and misguided analyses that often paralyze policymakers.
What was the goal in doing so?
This goal is to improve the justice quotient and knowledge in America and around the world at the critical moment when constitutional crises loom, and civil rights are so impaired. There is a lot of injustice or unfairness among companies, businesses, and international business or trade. Doing this will help to increase the awareness of justice among cross-cultural trade and businesses.
What were the anticipated findings concerning the global leadership issue?
The findings have indicated Ifill has a vital leadership skill from her platform to advocates and to create and implement shared goals and work. Sherrilyn can inspire and educate. Cultural assumptions have a crucial role when identifying a leader. A leader must be aware of their influential culture and can go over it. Leaders must be skilled at accurately reading people and situations and then adjusting their behavior accordingly. However, Ifill knows her identity and cultural influence, which she uses to advocate and fight for equality and rights in her country. Ifill goes above and beyond using her platform as a president and director-council of the NAACP legal defense and educational funds to guide and inspire communities across borders.
2- Methodology
How did you obtain the information necessary for this project?
I used the qualitative research method for my research. I wanted to see who the most influential leaders in the world are as of today. I looked at a list of leaders, and Sherrilyn Ifill stood out to me. I was able to find multiple scholarly articles that included Sherrilyn and gave me solid information.
I researched the most popular and helpful global leaders in the world, and Sherrilyn Ifill was a person who stood out to me. Though she teaches, she impacted the world by launching several innovative legal offerings while at Maryland Law school.
Why was this method chosen?
I chose this method because I am looking for a situation where there have been problems and how they have been solved in this project.
