The 1960's liberation movement caused great havoc in white men’s masculinity. The aspect of patriarchy and feminism had a great play in these movements. Sally Robison played a significant role in highlighting the traditional gender roles concerning feminist power. The goal of male liberation movements is to create awareness to men on the freedom of speech. The traditional roles of men in society have made ordinary men lose their masculinity. For example, it is quite challenging to see a man talk about sexual assault since it is a weakness.
