The primary purpose of authors is to inform as about a particular issue within the society. They attempt to enlighten us about the issue by exploring various aspects that may be the major cause. At the end they provide various recommendations that can help in addressing the issue. However, the authors tend to achieve the objective of informing us earlier through the use of a thesis statement in the introduction. The authors of the readings that I chose have succeeded in informing us by clearly defining their thesis statement. The authors in the four readings aimed at outlining the challenges facing the inclusive education in the society. The level of education existing between one country and another, how government officials handling such matter like education determines how well off the system can be better given a certain period of time. It’s clear in some countries even all the children with disabilities have the right to education. Wide-ranging education is an important part of school development procedures in terms of justness in informative sets. Equity issues are particularly important for immigrant students.
Another aspect that helps the authors succeeds in developing their thesis statements by clearly defining the issue by addressing the various aspects surrounding inclusive education in the society. These aspects include, choice of parents and students, behavioural and emotional issues, wishes of students and most importantly the government policies. This helps the reader to develop a deeper understanding of the problem being addressed before going further.
The authors utilize a wide range of evidence to support their claims. For example they cite evidence from previous studies that have been undertaken to address the issue. Also, they cite data from government and school databases to support their claims. These forms of evidence are reliable hence providing authenticity to the claims of the authors. For example, Alfredo et al., cites from Additionally, they cite from books that have attempted to explain certain concepts such as equivalence, integration and inclusion.
The perspective of the authors is that there are various aspects that need to be considered to address the issue of inclusion in education system. They feel that more is needed in order to address the issue in the education system and ensure equity is achieved.
