Modularity
Modularity is a designing process that entails cutting or sizing products into smaller fragments, for example, building camera pixels. Modularity is a constraint that helps designers to make constant decisions on the size, color, and texture in a graphic design. Modularity has extensive benefits to a designer; for instance, it helps in decision making (Philips, 2014).
Constraints
Every design is faced with constraints, and it is the goal of a designer to work around these problems and come up with a compelling application or product. One way to work with constraints is to evaluate all designs with similar patterns. Simple components make graphic designing easy, and it helps override modularity constraints (Philips, 2014).
Alphabet blocks
Alphabets blocks are in various forms, and they help graphic designers to solve modularity constraints. There are different types of alphabet blocks. Modular alphabets are used to create objects with basic shapes such as cubes, triangles, and rectangles. Architectural alphabets are used to create three-dimension things, and they usually use software such as AutoCAD (Philips, 2014).
