            Enter The New Negro Response   Name Institution                                                               In his article “The New Negro", Alain Locke's speaks on the need for a new perception towards African American people. Alaine is considered to have revolutionized the New Negro movement, also referred to as the Harlem Renaissance. In his anthology, Alaine utilizes a philosophical view in order to illustrate the importance of cultural diversity, with reference to African American people, through the use of poetic devices, music, and literature(Locke, 1925). Essentially, by highlighting and reconstructing the concept of black culture, his perception of discrimination and condemnation promotes a more generalist approach, from which controversial issues have develop over the years(Cappiello, 2018) .
