Role of Migration in World History
A significant similarity in the three documents is how the communities all realized how they needed each other. In the document about the people of Huns, we see how the Alani had to come to terms with the Huns. The Huns were barbarians who lived in the bush; the tribe later invaded the Alani and formed a peaceful alliance. The document about Anglo-Saxons shows how the British people needed the Anglo-Saxons to fight their enemies from the north. The British pushed the Celtic people up north to areas around Scotland. The Celtic people retaliated, which made the Brits need Anglo-Saxon support to contain their enemy.
