I am writing this letter to request for new computers to be used in our department. As the Warehouse Manager for _____________Company, I made requests for new computers as early as February. However, I have not yet received official communication from your office. As you are aware, one of the company’s objectives this year was to upgrade all computers to the recent models and dispose off the outdated ones. The budget for the new machines was even allocated at the beginning of the fiscal year to finance the project. However, the project has stalled and so far, none of the departments has upgraded its machines.
Our department is particularly vulnerable since our computers perform many operations each day. As you are aware, the company has registered considerable growth in the last nine months. The amount of work we have subjected our computers during this period has pushed them to the limit. Consequently, they cannot keep up with the increasing number of transactions each day.
