Instructions:
The exam will take the form of an essay that will answer 3 questions, and it must include the following:
(1) At least three issues that the student considers critical regarding the subject of the prompt.
(2) a clear argument/s with pros and cons, and
(3) references to lectures and course materials across any topics studied during the course to support the argument. A rubric for the final exam will be available on Canvas. Instructions on how to best answer the exam will also be provided to the students.
(4) The lecture will be dedicated to Q&A regarding this exam. All students are welcome to use this space to get a clearer indication of how to best answer the exam questions.
(5) You have unlimited uploading attempts. If you believe you want to change your answers and are still within the deadline, you can do so.

The exams will be an open book and open notes. Working with others on the exam is prohibited. Answers must be within 1 page long per question, typed in 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced, and have 1-inch page margins. Students should help their arguments by citing lectures, weekly materials, and outside research (peer-reviewed articles, university press books, authoritative media sources, etc.). Citations should be in a standard format (MLA, APA, or Chicago). The bibliography does not count toward the page limit and should be on a separate page at the end of the essay. Students will have 6 days to complete the exam on their own. 
Late Submission
All assignment answers must be uploaded to Canvas and checked by Turnitin—a plagiarism detection system—before the due date and time. Any plagiarism detected will render the assignment null and give an automatic F for the course. Assignments that are turned in 1 minute to 24 hours after their due date will be penalized by 1/3 a letter grade. Assignments will be marked down a full letter grade for each additional 24-hour period they are late. No further delays will be allowed, and the exam will close 48 hours after the deadline.

Surged capital mobility makes the state's access to monetary wealth and profits more complex, and increased local competition declines the states' ability to gather taxes (Porta 670). As a result, there is reduced effectiveness of public administration and legitimacy of state institutions. Globalization has also led to migration from one area to another. The population of US Latinos in California has surpassed the number of whites (Santos). This shows how globalization has led to inequalities globally.
Globalization has also played a critical role in igniting global inequality in love and intimate relationships. In the last 50 years, founding intimate relationships and marriages has taken a different path drastically in the USA and other European nations. Inequality in the US is evident as many people are still interested in finding a long-term spouse, and more individuals look forward to being parents (Trask 571). Also, the era has experienced speedy international trade liberalization and investment to offer the background of globalization irrespective of the presence of political democracy being unequal (Nayyar 391). income inequality has also surged due to globalization, especially in middle and high-income nations and few in low-income countries.
