Intricacies of Modern Romantic Relationships from a Woman's Perspective
This is a Critical Context Paper around my main visual project, the project research question is:
Women who are particapting in hookup relationships often struggle to attain a dominant position within the power dynamics. How could an engaging board game be developed to educate women on the history of dating relationships and help highlight the ‘RedFlags’ in every stage of dating that could warn of incompatible partners?
I have the paper mostly done and need your help in smoothing out the logic of the paper and thesis structure (I will send you the brief, just change it as requested). In the paper, the background of the thesis has been completed(but still need a little change), now the main thing missing is the reference of the artist in the feminist aspect and the support of the argument. Also, please reduce what I have already written and add some case studies and reflections on the artist's work.

Introduction
The controversy around hook-up culture has sparked intense discussion about deciphering the complexities of contemporary love affairs. Four prominent feminists met in Toronto's Roy Thompson Hall on November 15, 2013, to discuss the changing role of males in today's society. “Are Men Obsolete?” is based on the public transcript of this enlightening discussion—the Munk Debate on Gender" (Davidson, 2016). The four renowned feminists who meet to discuss this issue—Hanna Rosin, Maureen Dowd, Caitlin Moran, and Camille Paglia—plunge into the core of the discourse, which is the turning point of masculinity in modern Western culture. Their conversation covers a broad spectrum of topics, including the changing cultural standards of gender and their ramifications on the dynamics of dating and committed relationships. Presided over by the perceptive Rudyard Griffiths, the discussion began with an audience poll showing that 82% of the 3000 participants were against the move to declare males obsolete. However, as the discourse unfolded, Rosin and Dowd persuaded 44% of the audience to reassess their stance. Their arguments challenged conventional beliefs about masculinity and its place in today's society.
This paper delves into the intricacies of modern romantic relationships, emphasising the female perspective. It seeks to illuminate how women navigate these relationships in the face of shifting power dynamics, evolving cultural influences, and changing attitudes toward sexual activity. An essential reference point in this exploration is the insights gleaned from the Munk Debate. Rather than focusing solely on the challenge to traditional male authority, this paper will draw upon the rich discussion from the debate that sheds light on the evolving roles and identities of both men and women in society. This approach allows for a more balanced and comprehensive understanding of the dynamic interplay in modern romantic relationships.
