Using Social Media to Build Our Capacity as a School

Since the globe has embraced globalization, technologies have become a part of our daily lives, and social media have taken the lead. Therefore, our school needs to embrace these technological innovations to expand our capabilities and promote better delivery of educational resources and learning outcomes. Students can access course materials and engage in futuristic learning possibilities by adopting and using mobile devices and social media, as well as by interacting with peers and teachers (Bond, 2019). However, the teachers must receive training regarding policies or regulations the school district may have established regarding using Facebook (Bond, 2019). It is crucial that educators maintain a professional demeanor and put teaching and learning at the forefront of all they do. Facebook's audience-centricity, which other traditional media may lack, is an outstanding trait that distinguishes it as a media platform. Facebook also connects its users by creating networked communities with similar interests.
Additionally, the school's Twitter or Facebook feeds will notify parents and the community concerning school-linked initiatives, events, games, and activities. Also, th...
