Diversification of sector clusters is one of the region's many interesting potentials. Of course, there are vulnerabilities and dangers as well, and those need consideration.
Strengths:
Government Hub: Albany is the capital of the state of New York, making it a significant center for government activities. This brings stability and a consistent source of employment to the city.
Education: Albany is home to several higher education institutions, including the State University of New York (SUNY) and private colleges. This contributes to a well-educated workforce and a vibrant intellectual community.
