In America middle aged to me would likely be from the ages between forty and fifty five years old. A person being established or accomplished all determines the person's life and has no age limit when they would be either of those. But most likely at those ages a person would have a set job, career , family , etc. As people get older more stress comes to mind like getting sick and having anxiety. It all depends on each individual some middle age is set with careers and maybe almost to retirement with a house and family as well as others might not have a set career and getting divorce and still don't know what to do with their lives.
One type of historical trend is learning how to be less dependent on your parents and going into the workforce. Adults are finding it difficult to find jobs that are paying good to support themselves and even with a family. Some jobs are decreasing hours and middle aged adults are taking pay cuts (Lally & French- Valentine , 2019). Also trying to get a job versus a younger person in their twenties most likely jobs would take a younger person then a middle aged person. In society it keeps changing on new requirements and advanced technology and what people accept in the job force.
No, I don't consider myself to be middle age. I am still in school as well as working a full time job trying to better my career. I passed my prime when I had no worries or responsibilities. Now I am in adulthood still trying to figure out life especially with all these high rates going on like rent, bills, food. Being in your twenties and trying to live an adult lifestyle is hard in this economy. Back in the day people in their twenties were set with jobs and supporting families. Only one person had to work in a household while the other could stay home and raise the kids. Not in this society everyone is still trying to figure out how to make it including me.
