The transfer of economic activities among different countries has increased international trade and financial flows, and workers who have found employment have had better living standards. Globalization has enhanced the ability to seek better employment opportunities in countries with more opportunities. There is increased social awareness on workers conditions, and there has been better pay in some sectors and support for paying living wages (Nica, Manole, & Potcovaru, 2016). While there has been loss of jobs in some sectors, the international flow of goods and foreign investments has created employment. There is also focus on improved productivity and job performance to increase competitiveness. The free of movement of goods, capital, people and information during globalization has changed the job market where there has been an increase in the number of workers able to find work in jobs that suit them.
