Summary

A summary is a record in a reader's own words that gives the main points.

1. Read, or listen and/or view in order to decide what the main points are.

2. Underline and/or write all the important points and all the important evidence

3. List or cluster the main idea supporting ideas and the main evidence for each idea of the wholepiece you read, viewed/listened.

4. Please write the summary in paragraphs (at least the introduction, the body: main ideas(could be more than one paragraph), and a short concluding paragraph: (summing up the mostimportant ideas).
