Primary Features of the Strong Interest Inventory, Self-Directed Search, and Kuder Career Interest Assessment
The strong interest inventory is an assessment tool that helps people to identify their personality by exploring interests in six areas. These areas include social, conventional, artistic, realistic, enterprising, and investigative (The Myers-Briggs Company, 2021). Kuder's career interests assessment enabled individuals to match their interests with careers. Additionally, self-directed search (SDS) is an interest and career test that encourages individuals to think about things pertaining to one's skills, interests, ambitions, and activities.
Comparison and Contrasting of the Three Primary Inventories
When it comes to the strong interest inventory, it breaks the six primary areas into numerous interest areas, which can be directly related to leisure, study, and career activities. People's lives are described into five main areas, namely orientation, risk-taking, work, leadership style, team orientation, and learning environment. Kuder's career interest assessment tool helps individuals to understand the career of their choice based on what they like to do ("Kuder Career Assessments," n.d.)). Self-directed search comprises six primary categories that include conventional, investigative, artistic, social, realistic, and investigative. All these three inventories play a significant role in ensuring that individuals engage in careers that they are interested in doing based on their interests.
