Symbolic frame refers to ways an organization uses stories, symbols, and signs to create an organizational culture and brand identity. In addition, this identity justifies the institution's behaviors and traditions they adopt. This paper shall investigate the symbolic frame the University of Missouri has adopted, including its significance and assumptions.
Bunn developed a five-point scale for rating each program to quantify his judgment. This scale measured the achievement of the changes Bunn suggested to the institution (Maeroff, 1982). Notably, these scores were different across all the colleges and schools. The full scale was 25, which represented exemplary performance. Equally important, Bunn identified weaknesses in the institution using this scale and suggested eliminating the two institutions with substantial losses. ...
