Improving IBM's Performance and Upholding the Well-Being of the Employees

Introduction
I am writing this letter to propose a solution to the recurring problem in the workplace. The existing problem is that we, as the workers, are working on old versions of computers which are slow in processing various activities. Employers are very frustrated with the performance of these computers since it takes time to process multiple activities. The fact that we are in the financial department, we always find it very hard to prepare various critical financial statements. Some of the company's confidential documents are being breached due to the old versions of computers (Qodirov et al., 2019). It becomes more frustrating and devastating that such security issues have claimed some of the employees' jobs while some are being penalized mercilessly. One of the companies that have experienced data loss due to a lack of proper computers is IBM. In 2016, the company reported a loss of $3.92 million, which took less than a minute to be transferred (Sun et al., 2018). At that time, the company was using a core two duo, the same computer that our company uses. Thus we are still the potential victims if these computers are not upgraded as soon as possible.
Background Information
Computers are important to the company since it processes various activities that need a complex approach. Most companies are investing in the latest versions of computers to improve their performance while ensuring employees' well-being (Ajala, 2012). Furthermore, companies are investing in cybersecurity optimization to secure the company's confidential information, thus reducing its vulnerability to hackers. I would suggest that the company purchase the latest computer desktops, especially the Hp core i9 series optimized with Kaspersky security software. This is the recommended computer considering that it is the latest in the market and most of the companies are in the market to implement the same strategy. 
Proposal benefits and schedule for completion
Recent versions of computers are high-performance machines considering that most of its specifications in processing data, security, performance, and durability are high compared to the core 2 duo (Qodirov et al., 2019). Furthermore, recent computers are compatible with most third-party software such as Kaspersky, making them more suitable for performing high-end tasks. These computers will ensure that the employees are motivated to perform their analysis in most arithmetic tasks. A healthy workplace needs to integrate both company and individual support, thus ensuring that service delivery is useful, accurate thus ensuring growth in the company by minimizing significant errors that might lead to massive losses.
