Twenty-first-century educators must prepare 21st-century students for higher education and modern careers. Since technology is a significant part of the modern century, considering that the century is also referred to as the 4th industrial revolution, educators must be well-versed in different technologies. Additionally, they should understand how the different technologies can be interpreted in health or science classrooms. Examples of such technologies include applications, websites, and computer programs, among others. In this regard, the current paper aims to describe three technologies conducive to integration in learning and teaching health sciences.
Learnetic Website
Learnetic.com is an educational website developed by Learnetic, an educational organization with over 20 years of experience in developing educational technologies involving social and health sciences. The website provides interactive and intelligent digital content that helps educators and learners exchange information remotely (Learnetic, 2023). The website provides interactive charts of natural science targeting K-12 education. Notably, the interactive website has 50 topics across subjects like chemistry, physics, biology, and geography and over 1000 interactive chart for computer or whiteboard use. Other features include illustrations, 3D graphics, simulations, films, and Augmented Reality elements. According to Johnson, Walton, and Elliott (2022), these are the features required to provide content to a diverse society. The website caters to typical and atypical students, particularly those with issues like short attention spans. The fact that it can be accessed from any geographical area and on different devices means it can be used or accessed by diverse populations. The website keeps students engaged by using videos, 3D Graphics, and interactive charts. It helps connect concepts with typical day-to-day ordinary activities like walking.

Today, the increase in smartphone ownership implies that children also have access. This means they have access to educational applications like STEM Buddies.
