Formulating Hypothesis
Researchers must accommodate a careful consideration of the hypothesis statements and their methods of testing in designing efficient market research experiments. Partly, developing and testing hypotheses help the researchers collect the correct data and address the research objectives adequately (Lehmann & Romano, 2022). To develop hypothesis statements, there are specific steps that a researcher can follow. The first step should be identifying the objectives in which the researcher defines the purpose of his/her study thereby showcasing what the study intends to uncover. The second step should be to review the existing literature. The review of literature helps to outline the gaps in knowledge that the researcher intends to address. Upon unearthing the literature gaps, the researcher should clear null and alternative hypotheses. The null hypothesis implies that changes in one set of variables do not trigger changes in the other.
