Hiejin Yoo's American Light (2019) is an amazing piece of art that utilizes the power of an artist to express the concept of time or seasons. When viewing the work of art, the first thing that comes to mind is the moon's various phases. However, after a deeper analysis, an individual can discover that the painting has a lot of information to teach other than the moon's phases. The painting draws the viewer to the complexity of daily life.
