* Why do you wish to teach in a Christian school?
I developed a connection with Christianity when I moved to the UK for my master's degree. I had never interacted with Christians while in China. I had read their values, practices, and beliefs in history, religious journals, and the internet. The opportunity to study in the UK made me interact with Christians, drawing my interest to their values and practices. I wish to work in a Christian institution because it allows me to share in their values of love, sharing, integrity, and responsibility. In the Bible, Jesus says we should let the young children look up to him. I will do this by constantly emphasizing the same value Jesus taught when he was on earth.
* What areas do you feel are your strengths and weaknesses?
The most significant strength I have is my experience in handling mathematics students. I have studied to the master's degree level and taught in various schools. Before enrolling for my master's degree in the UK, I worked as a banker and later as a teacher in China. This gives me math experience in a financial and academic institution. This also enhanced my discipline that I tag along as my strength.
My weakness is that I have challenges letting projects go. I do not know when to move on and forget a project I finished a while ago. For this reason, I have most of my childhood projects when I was still a student and those that I used in my professional work. I also still have in my archives my projects when working as a banker in China. However, this works to my advantage because it keeps my professional memories alive.
* What do you believe about the origin of the earth and humankind?
I believe that God created the universe and everything in it, as the book of Genesis chapter 1 explains in the Bible. Humankind reflects the nature of God because he created us in his image.
