Individuals acquire language through interaction with the prevailing environment from their childhood. Notably, children can learn any language depending on their surroundings. As these children develop, they can differentiate various sound and language rhythms in their environmental exposure. In this case, children imitate the sounds and vowels of people’s speech around them. After some time, these children develop as they learn the complex aspect of their dominant language. As a result, they gain full knowledge about their language and can communicate ideas and thoughts effectively.
Individuals develop their language by learning its basic to complex rules. These people learn to understand the rules regarding sound sequences and speech sound pronunciation. In addition, individuals usually understand how they can develop concepts into words and learn vocabulary. Equally important, these people also master the arrangement of words in a sentence to enhance their language proficiency. Lastly, individuals boost communication and adaptation by learning a language’s social rules and non-verbal expressions.
