Pointing Out the Conflicting Views Regarding Abortion

Abortions
Abortion has been put across in most of the humanitarian and Christianity platforms for discussion. Unfortunately, the term has a wrong impression from the traditional perception. Unprofessionalism, lack of accurate information about the explanation of what a fetus is, and much more have led to people having a wrong perception of abortion. I'm for abortion with self-explanatory and informative reasons below about my position. The paper is a discussion of the conflicting topic of abortion.
Premises and Explanations
"Access to legal, professionally performed abortions reduces maternal injury and death caused by unsafe, illegal abortions" ("Abortion - Pros & Cons - Procon.Org"). Abortions could easily cause problems to women if it is carried out unprofessionally. Many women feel it is better to give birth, even if it is unplanned, rather than putting themselves in a position that leaves them infertile or causes more serious maternal problems. According to WHO, back door abortion or unsafe abortion cause around 68,000 deaths of women. The statistics leave the position of abortion in question while it is not wrong if done professionally. The premise supports my position by showing that abortion becomes a bad practice only if done unprofessionally. Therefore, the practice is never dangerous if it is
"Fetuses are incapable of feeling pain when most abortions are performed" ("Abortion - Pros & Cons - Procon.Org"). According to studies, the cortex contributes almost a hundred percent to the perception of pain. According to con 3 about the fetus feeling pain. There is not enough research supporting that a fetus can feel pain. With the information from pro 4, it is safe to perform abortion professionally and hence in a safe way, to grant the woman a reproductive choice ("Abortion - Pros & Cons - Procon.Org"). If there existed enough research to support the pain status of the fetus, the statement about pain would discredit abortion which would have affected the decision that abortion is not wrong. I chose this because if abortion would be legal but hurting someone, there is no reason to support its legality. This premise approves that abortion terminates a fetus life without pain which is considerable if, on the other hand, someone's right upheld achieved.
