Statistics and empirical studies have highlighted how serious the problem of ADHD is among college students. The issues primarily focus on the effects of ADHD on students’ learning outcomes. However, some of the statistics presented offer an update on how ADHD prevalence changes and what other disorders are associated with it. The three sources in this annotated bibliography will focus on these two aspects.

DuPaul et al. contend that having ADHD among college students stifles their studies completion and the goals associated with successful college studies. The researchers also express several facts about ADHD among college students, including variations across demographics. The findings indicate that ADHD causes lower college grades. However, the scholars assert that some interventions are often successful, including special accommodation and academic support services.
This is critical in the project due to its facts regarding the ADHD problem, including how the primary stakeholder suffers.
