France had been defeated at the earliest part of the war by the English. Joan, a sixteen years old girl joined the France army, and they started experiencing victory. Joan joined the army to battle at Orleans. Joan and her soldiers took all the English strongholds, and they got the victory (Hoskins, 2020). Joan also led her soldiers toward victory over a monastery controlled a south approach of two English strongholds. French fought another battle known as the battle of Patay and defeated the English with the help of Joan. She changed the course of the war by granting the French victory.
