My personal info: I graduated in Psychology major in 5 years ago. Few reasons why MS of finance: I'm working in a construction company currently, I need to participate in the company's real estate development project and construction loan, also need to assist in the refinance of the company's projects, and assist my manager in capital market research, such things relate to finance. Also, because of a lot of people lost their jobs during the pandemic, so I think this is a good time to improve myself. Also, I want to show how my major psychology relates to finance such as graduating from psychology can help me better understand the feelings and needs of clients something like this. Learning CFA by myself and trying to obtain CFA in the future is my plan to prepare for the future career.

After graduating with a Psychology major, I got a job at a construction company and gained experience in the field. The company also involves real estate, development projects, and construction loans which I have developed a keen interest in. In 2020, the global pandemic affected the construction and real estate market in general. As a finance professional, I will be able to understand the market and contribute to the success of the company. I understand the importance of finance in the real estate development sector, have an interest in finance hence the decision to pursue undergraduate studies at your university.
Masters of finance is my course of choice because I am currently interested in the real estate market and I work in the field. Real estate deals with tangible goods and it can be unpredictable. Working in the field has triggered a fascination with the finance part of the industry. I entered real estate with minimal experience and have studied what I could through my boss and online sources. My ultimate career goal is to become a financial consultant however, I understand to achieve this I will have to work for a company to gain experience in the competitive industry.
