Communication is an important asset, especially in this Covid-19 pandemic era. Appropriate crisis communication steps are likely to translate to positive results (SAMHSA, 2019). Penn State Football team experienced Covid-19 with an average of 25 players testing positive. In this light, it was important to communicate with the media to curb Covid-19 cases among the team players and the society at large. The first step to communicating with the media is to have an ideal location that favors the Penn State Football team and media officials. Considering this step, it would be prudent for the media briefing to be held on-campus in University Park, Pennsylvania. Noteworthy, having in place key speakers would make it easier for the briefing to be successful.
