Cherokee religion is the traditional spiritual belief system of the Cherokee people, a Native American tribe located primarily in the southeastern United States. They observe two primary distinguishing ethical tenets or rules: harmony and balance and respect for ancestors and traditions. A critical ethical tenet of the Cherokee religion is maintaining harmony and balance in all aspects of life.
