One of the main ways of achieving strategic consensus is to allow other employees to participate in making the decision (Luo & Jiang, 2014, p.138). The participatory nature of allowing other employees take a stand in decision-making process enables the team to come to a strategic consensus. The other way is by increasing cordial relationship between employees. This ensures that there are heightened the level of conflicts between the employees to being a strategic consensus (Luo & Jiang, 2014, p.142). Some of the issues to be considered in dealing with communication barriers is the use of jargons and unknown abbreviated meanings. Another issue to be considered when minimizing communication barriers is physical barriers such as noise that detract the communication process.
